Main features: Single to use sensors that eliminate the electrode maintenance. Specially designed to work with microvolumes, this inexpensive miniaturized solution presents high reproducibility making them ideal for working in decentralized assays or to develop (bio)sensors in environmental, clinical or agri-food areas.

Possible aplications: Development of (bio)sensing applications in multiple sectors and fields. The interdigitated configuration makes these electrodes ideal for conductivity and impedance measurements. This model exhibits enhanced diffusion, to achieve steady-state currents with redox systems, sensitivity and detection limits.

Additional information: The working electrode is a metallic surface made of gold, covered by a SU-8 resin that has been microperforated in 21 bands of 10 µm width and distance between bands of 100µm.Due to the small distances between the fingers of these electrodes, they are intended for clean room use. In addition, for cleaning, it is enough to wipe a little ethanol solution on the electrodes and dry them under a gentle N2 current.
