Features

Number of WEs: 1 WE

Working electrode material: Calcium ionophore/carbon

Working electrode diameter: 0.40 cm

Working electrode position: In the middle of the strip.

Auxiliary electrode material: Carbon

Reference electrode material Silver

Contacts material: Silver

Substrate material: Ceramic

Substrate size: Length: 3.38 cm x Width: 1.02 cm

Substrate thickness: 0.05 cm

Main features: Single to use sensors that eliminate the electrode maintenance. Specially designed to work with microvolumes, this inexpensive miniaturized solution presents high reproducibility making them ideal for working in decentralized assays or to develop (bio)sensors in environmental, clinical or agri-food areas. The different modifications applied to the working electrode provide an enhanced active area and improve the electron-transfer properties.

Possible applications:  Measurement of Ca2+ by open circuit potentiometry (OCP) in a range of concentration 10-4 to 0.1 M (from 4 to 4008 ppm).

Packaging: 50 units per pack

Storage: At room temperature, protected from light in a dry place.

Suitable connectors: CAST, I-CAST, CASTDIR, CAC, CAC4MM, DSC, DSC4MM, CAST1X8

Customization options: The design, geometry, substrate material, size, inks or modification of this reference can be customized under your specifications and produced in large quantities upon request. This modification can also be applied to 4WE and 8WE format SPEs. For more information please contact us at info.dropsens@metrohm.com
