Software Engineer C# .NET

We are present in over 90 countries, with subsidiaries or exclusive agencies.

To build up additional Scrum Teams with a total of 20 new employees, in an international environment at our facilities in Metrohm DropSens (Spain), for the development of our new OMNIS software platform for managing all Metrohm instruments, we are looking for a: Software Engineer C# .NET

Your Duties

  • As a full stack software developer, you are a member of a Scrum Team and contributes with your engagement to develop the OMNIS software.
  • You plan and organize development activities together with your team.
  • You take responsibility for the further development of the OMNIS software.
  • With your experience, you help developing your scrum team to its highest performance.
  • You elaborate feasible solutions with the Product Owner and implement them in your team with a high commitment to quality.
  • You work closely with other departments (e.g. laboratory, hardware and firmware) to implement functionalities in an optimal way.
  • You are proactive and eager to help your team to continuously sharpen their engineering skills and improve the agile development process.

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor or Master in Computer Science and experience in the software development.
  • Experience in software managing hardware is a plus.
  • You feel comfortable in a team of about 6-10 people and have already worked in an agile environment, ideally in an international scaled environment.
  • You have solid engineering practice in OOA/D, Design Patterns, UML, TDD & Clean Code and several years’ experience with C# .NET, WPF, MS SQL.
  • You enjoy working with interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment and appreciate the exchange with specialists in chemistry, electronics and software.
  • You are open, curious and eager to learn.
